Originally created as a character for a PowerPuff Girls fan comic, she was later adapted for the Prismatic Haven roleplay on DA.

Nellie comes from a world where people are losing the ability to see color. Those who still can are called Prismas, and they are sheltered in a town called Prismatic Haven. She grew up in a large town outside Prismatic. Though her immediate family was accepting of Nellie's ability to see color, she started to be bullied in school when some of the students found out that she wasn't exactly normal. Nellie was usually able to ward them off with a verbal lashing. Eventually, though, her behavior got her in trouble with teachers, and her parents decided to transfer her out. Her mother encouraged her to apply to Prismatic's prestigious Prismatic Academy.

Nellie is an outgoing little spitfire, with a sharp wit but also a hot temper. She has enough sass to go around and then some.
