You've definitely seen Ledo's face around the streets of Mayleaf. Everybody admires him. Except for himself. He's worked hard to get where he is, but it's still not good enough. After losing [his best friend](https://unvale.io/character/07f82bf2-4d8a-47a4-8365-cd35f4967869) in an accident he caused, he's feeling even lower.

As a kid, Ledo had been called weird, gay, irrational, and just about every other insult under the sun. He's had a constant identity struggle. He really has to work to fit in, but he learned to play the part well. During mandatory military service, he lost his eye. While recovering at the hospital, he met [Jasper](https://unvale.io/character/428d3994-1fe3-4417-a790-b2648f61dc69), who bullied Ledo, making him even more self-conscious. [Sergio](https://unvale.io/character/0c02df1c-abc9-4a4b-a0fb-e43755568189), tried to mediate, but to little avail.

He returned to Mayleaf to become consort, and eventually he met the Celadon president, Conrad, the only person Ledo's ever felt like he could be himself around. They would go out for ice cream every week. After Conrad's death, Ledo became a lot more somber, and it showed.  The death was partly Ledo's fault, so that's one more thing that's weighing on him. He used to be so showy, but now he can't be bothered.

🐶💬After the main story of [Cobaka](https://unvale.io/world/5bed47a3-a24b-4b6b-9186-2351335136e9), he meets [Adrik](https://unvale.io/character/95441b5c-c89b-4cc9-bf6d-921fd6f5539e), who he immediately falls for. They both feel the same way, but neither of them say anything for a long while. Even now that they're dating, they act like business partners in public.
