A hotheaded, rambunctious thief trying her best to break herself from her thieving ways so perhaps she can finally live a more 'normal' life. ...She's making progress, but old habits simply die hard; so watching your wallet & other valuables around her is still highly advised. Grew up poor in a gang of thieves alongside [Jin Zhu](https://unvale.io/character/34897f26-7d2e-4113-b1f5-39be6dfbe041), so thievery is really the only lifestyle she ever knew prior to leaving the gang.

Quick to anger & easily jumps into fights without any thinking about whether or not she can actually win, also stubbornly refuses to walk away from things whether something simple & unimportant, a fight, or even comments she perceives as rude. An incident in the thief gang she grew up in resulted in her being made partially blind & deaf on one side.

The incident is what would, in the end, make both her & Jin Zhu leave the gang, although at separate times thanks to Yisui & Jin Zhu having an argument & Jin Zhu choosing to leave first after his initial failed attempts to convince Yisui to leave. Yisui eventually begrudgingly realized her childhood best friend had been right about leaving, that this really wasn't a way good way to live; leading to her own decision to finally flee from the gang of thieves she grew up in.

Gets up to mishaps often because she has no idea wtf she's doing, & occasionally slips back into thievery simply because she doesn't know how else to survive; this is what eventually leads to her meeting [Lao](https://unvale.io/character/77d23d44-3d7a-49d5-adf1-b5fd39d9a718) & Fei who wind up taking her along with them on their travels cause Lao hoped they could help her figure out how to live normally.

Eventually ends up falling for Lao & getting together once Yisui finally figures out her feelings; she also reunites with Jin Zhu, who'd became a bounty hunter, & somewhere along the way she & Lao would both end up with feelings for him too, which turn out to be reciprocated.
