Amuet is always been the black sheep of the family, being born from an affair from a married man. He turned this around and managed to win custody of her. Which didn't made her life any easier. 

Despite how badly she was treated in her family, she didn't argue, fight back or anything. She made sure to stand her ground when she knew she was being mistreated. 

When she was finally of age, she moved out reaching out to friends and other help to give her a new life she needed.
