Her Royal Majesty, Queen Corizus of the Skyward Hives. The one who started it all.

Corizus was born from an affair between a HiveWing aristocrat and the former SkyWing general. Despite her SkyWing father being largely absent in her life, her mother did her very best to condition young Corizus to be a perfect portrait of nobility. When she got a little older, Corizus seemed to embody everything her mother had wanted of her, now almost admired instead of looked down upon for the circumstances of her hatching.
Sooner rather than later, Corizus managed to claw herself all the way up the ranks, becoming extremely close with the older SkyWing Queen. When her last surviving heir lost the royal challenge, and she was unable to have more children, Queen Cuprite adopted Corizus as her new successor. Soon after, Corizus managed to slaughter the HiveWing royal family, and Cuprite surrendered the throne to the now-Queen hybrid.
Queen Corizus kickstarted quite a few enterprises under her rule, including the H.I.V.E. project. Kept top secret to all but those directly involved, the deepest corridors of the palace were dedicated almost entirely to the H.I.V.E. and its...experiments.
