Born without LeafSpeak, he instead discovered he could communicate with animals. Eternal gave him a place in the Dragonfire Carnival, 
Works with dangerous animals such as Dragonbite Vipers and somtimes with colorful birds. He's also part of Landslide's beast act, where he sometimes pretends to control or "tame" the enormous Landslide as part of the performance while landslide "attacks him". The act makes Landslide look like a terrifying beast while Hellebore plays the confident tamer who supposedly has him completely under control.
