share your upcycled and/or handmade clothing, or even just designs and ideas! You can even just post outfits you’ve put together if you don’t have the time or resources to do DIY at the moment! And, if you don’t want to post irl pictures, don’t worry about it! Feel free to post your drawings of outfits as well. Be it recommendations of stores and materials to try, advice, questions, or anything else outfit based, don’t be afraid to post it! This place is friendly to everyone regardless of experience, as I myself am I beginner with upcycling and DIY things.

Things that count:
-Cosplays / costumes
-self-made clothing
-Self-edited clothing
-Kandi or other bead things, they’re cool!
-Anything else you might be able to think of

Things not to post about:
-Things that go against UnVale guidelines
-Suggestive outfits
-Selfies that show ANY part of the face, including facial accessories. Sorry, them’s the rules.
-Things that include the designs of other artists (like graphic tees or special belts) without credits to the artist (unless unavailable or obvious)
-DIY piercings; they are dangerous and have even gotten friends of mine in the hospital. Do NOT DIY piercings, go to a professional with experience and clean tools.
-Outfits that disrespect cultures or heritages, including cultural appropriation. If you want help with an inspired outfit but don’t want to do cultural appropriation, try asking about how you could do it here, to someone you know irl, or on another platform if you are allowed to.
-Anything else that goes against your common sense. Please be responsible and kind to everyone here.

ONE LAST THING!!!
If you showcase your outfit, it’s preferred if you can lay it out somewhere or put it on some sort of mannequin or stand. If you can’t do that or strongly prefer not to, make sure to not show ANY details of your face or surrounding area and ask the UnVale support team if you have any sort of questions.
