LGBTQ+ cheating

Okay so I used to see this everywhere in fiction and stuff. But basically people would make things where like a gay man was dating a girl or a lesbian was dating a guy and then the queer person would cheat on the person they were dating with someone of their actual sexual attraction (like a gay man would get with another gay man while he was dating a girl) and then when their actual partner found out everyone would be like “Oh but their gay so it’s okay!” like they literally didn’t just cheat???

Like I don’t think this is a problem anymore but omg people would worship the queer person that cheated because they got with someone they actually loved and would criticize the partner that got cheated on for being sad. like what. Like people would idolize the fictional person because they were gay and stuff. idk man it was just super duper weird to me. Like why didnt they just have the queer character break up with their partner to get with someone they actually loved so it wouldent be cheating??

Anyways that’s just a small rant about something that isnt really a big problem
