On [REDACTED] the Goliath Darluion arose from the revels near Paris, France. It pierced it's way through the armor of the, at the time, state of the art weapons and defenses and made it's way to the city where it would wreck havoc. Approximately 450 people died in that attack.

On that day, Fredrick McRailen was visiting the city in his early 40s after he recently inherited a wealth of money from his parents. When he saw the Goliath he was struck with awe and wonder. Despite authority's trying to evacuate him with the other citizens but he insisted on staying. Later in his journal he wrote "It's beautiful. To be so close to something so perfect, so devine, make one wish to reach out to such holyness. I must find more." With that, the McRailen Foundation was born, which even after it's founders disappearance, would leave behind a legacy of scientific research innovation, or so it seemed.

Sera Fang was only 15 when Darluion attacked. Her parents died that day. With that a vengeance was born. Sera went on to become one of the greatest weapon pilots of all time. She would be higherd by weapon manufacturers to design weapons based off of her experience and expertise. Out of all she has done in her life, she has been determined on one vow, that she would not live in a world that Goliaths roam.
