Princess Oriana: Concept Sketches 👑✨💖

Was looking through my characters and realized my concepts sketches for Oriana are kinda buried in her art gallery... Lol. So I though I'd re-post them here so they'd get some attention. I really love the posting options we have on here~ ^^

Also, yes, she's meant to be VERY Princess Aurora inspired. Lmao. Especially with the hair~ I LOVE the lighter lineart against a darker shade! It really gives it a sense of being golden. I tend to do it alot in my art whenever I want someone's hair to seem shiny or regal.

She's meant to be very princess-y, both in a "disney-esc" way and a traditional, responsible way. Both compassionate yet duty-bound, she struggles to be the Princess she "meant" to be over the one she WANTS to be. Only, later on, she'll be driven on a grand adventure and gets kinda a "Revolutionary Girl Utena" upgrade. <3

Ngl, it's kinda turning out "Magical Girl/RPG Fantasy" story. Which I'm excited about~ One day I'd love to turn this into a comic/webcomic/manga/SOMETHING.
