In a biologically corrupted, post-apocalyptic world, a small group of survivors known as the Strays (consisting of their siren leader, aiant lizard, a harpy scientist, a feral creature, and a normal human man) devote themselves to reviving the globe and eradicating a mysterious infection once and for all.

Though, meanwhile, the last remaining human civilization plots deep underground, wanting to rid the world of the disease as well, through more...violent means.
