Shortly after the creation of mankind, there began to be a disturbance among Earth and within its society.
It all started with people becoming overwhelmed by sudden mental anguish often accompanied by vomiting up strange black goo.

People were being consumed by what is called “malice”, a strange parasitic substance which takes on many forms in hopes of securing its next host. It began feeding on people’s deepest insecurities and intrusive thoughts.

The dedicated overseer of Earth, Aster, is making it their job to fight against this evil entity. He decides to use his powers to cleanse human souls of malice as much as possible.

Sometimes, these souls get stuck in a realm called “Limbo” after their untimely deaths. With the help of their assistant, both of them retrieve these souls to prepare them for cleansing.

However, Aster isn’t the only one harvesting souls from Limbo. An unstable creature, known as the Soul Snatcher, threatens humanity on a daily basis.

Aster decides to recruit some of his newly cleansed souls to work for them as his proxies. They will fight against malice to save people and their souls, starting from the source.

Together, they plan to figure out the Soul Snatchers true identity, and end their reign of terror.
