Franklin has been missing for a month now, and yet he lives on. His influence is still present in the many places he frequented - if only barely. Overtime, however, it's as if his spirit were gradually fading away. No more does he contact the people he had once known, nor does he maintain the joyous pep in his step that had always accompanied him.

Is he still living? The evidence is greatly conflicting.

The laboratory he ran before was never officially placed under new management, but there had been some noticeable changes. After all, Franklin wasn't nearly as interested in chemicals affecting human brain function before, was he? And how come a few limited people have claimed to talk to him, but haven’t seen him in person?

It's as if he were refusing to show what he had become...

...but his niece (and adoptive daughter) Scarlet wishes to find out the truth! Her investigations into this grand mystery have had... varying amounts of success, but she might finally have a lead - a lead in the form of a tiny and boastful alien she found on a train to her (and her uncle's) workplace...? Its appearance seemed to coincide with a strange chemical leak at the labs, causing a good chunk of the local population to either become large masses of sentient goo or chaotic husks of their former self - and they all seem to be SUPER hungry!

Looks like it's time for this unlikely duo to pave their way through the chaos and find what they're both looking for - a lost uncle... and intergalactic fame?
