Working on a comic now that I finally found out about Comicfury and decided to check it out, I'll probably upload AMIWC there as well! For now, my main test-run is Darkbound, with another called Yipsong being a little secondary project to test out other stuff. You can find me on there as Codycoyote! I'll leave a link to the comic once the first page or so is up, though do heed the violence/gore warning!

Darkbound follows Rattlepaw, a young, bright-eyed FirClan apprentice, and his former-kittypet father, Wicker. Spoilers ahead in case you'd prefer to read on as it's posted.

Note for Worst Case Scenario - not posting all of the sketches, there's 34, also watch out for spoilers! And they're.. sketches, duh. I plan on making an animatic or something with the song :)

Born to Rosetuft, his mother and siblings were attacked by a dog trying to visit Wicker to convince him to join one last time, and when he found them later after catching her scent on the wind, he was distressed to find that only one little ginger-and-white kit survived, and decided to bring him back to her wildcat family (as he knew them) and raise the little guy, thinking of it as his duty to make up for the whole thing. FirClan is furious with him, of course, finding out that a no-good kittypet was the father of Rosetuft's litter and the reason they're not coming back- especially her best friend, Mottleclaw, whose own kit will never know what were essentially their siblings, given how close the queens were.

Said kit is Copperkit, now Copperpaw. The other apprentices make fun of her, because Talonstar and Ficklefang decided she should be an herbcat, and not a warrior or a guard or even just a hunter- but never Rattlepaw. Rattlepaw remains her best friend, her brother, in a sense- until Nettle comes along, that is, telling her of loner tales and twoleg animals and all kinds of wonderful things, outside of the confines of her clan.
