‘Bright Forest’ is an optimistic prediction of the far future, with civilizations across the galaxy/universe actively communicating in good faith and trust, as opposed to the typical ‘Dark Forest’ scenario which is essentially the exact opposite.

Set anywhere in an indeterminate time in the far future. You can use any technology you want, but the vastness of space causes settings (planets, spaceships, stations, etc.) to be disproportionately isolated from other settings by sheer distance. This allows every setting thought of to be unique in it's own way, with as many or as little mixing between other settings, common themes, alien species, and humans as you want.

For example, a planet near an alien homeworld could have more aliens than humans and have may have differing traditions or ways of life, while a planet near Earth could have more humans than aliens and appreciate more human customs.

Space is very large and three dimensional; any number of alien species can be near Earth, so all settings can be as diverse as you want!

Conflict is welcome, though I will primarily write about day-to-day living for small groups across the setting in one-shots.
