In this post-apocalyptic world, the only way to survive is to never let your guard down. Animals can infect people by their saliva, blood or claws going into an open wound/bloodstream or entering the body in any other way.

Beware that the animals will not just stop at infecting you.

Once infected, hybrids cannot spread the disease; however, that doesn't mean that they aren't dangerous. Hybrids will get animalistic desires that counteract their humanity. Additionally, hybrids will grow animal-like physical features.
