Fragile Memory: Koriko

Koriko is a solo journaling TTRPG by mousehole.press

“This is a game for one player, designed for contemplative solo play. It’s a bubbling cauldron of simple rules and writing prompts, stirred together to produce the story of a teenage witch spending a year away from home in an unfamiliar city (...)” It is filled with prompts, games, and improvisation beats that play out a year of a wayfaring witch's experience.

Due to my insufferable ability to never play by the rules, I warped the themes to suit my own worldbuilding needs and take place in my universe of Fragile Memory. It's a setting where memories are tangible and souls are the foundation of all sciences and magicks.

Everything is handwritten in real-time without any preparation, drafting, or editing. This way it's a fully improvised blindly reactive roleplay experience, meaning there are many things I don't yet know about Skeu (such as what happened in his two years absent, what happened to his parents, or what secrets lie beneath the stones of Keschib.) It also means his journey is littered with plot holes, inconsistencies, and horrific unedited writing.

This is my hell. But I love my terrible son.
