What happens when characters become lost inside their creators mind?

Unable to go back home, the girlie pops bounce around between abandoned ideas in hopes to randomly find a way back home. Some more eager than others to go back.

They're not alone though, as a gatekeeper is aware of their presence outside the normal boundaries.
