Power Cats is a story I had been coming up with for a while now and yet somehow haven't finished the main plot yet! It was planned to be a webcomic lol

The History and Establishment of Gishtau:
Gishtau is the overall territory that the four cities have established themselves in. It's been around for over a hundred years and in that time the cats have had the time to develop culture and ways of expressing themselves through art and writing. Unfortunately writing didn't exist in the time of establishment or many years afterwards so there aren't any real documents of what happened or what is was like. Just word from mouth stories.
 A group of cats at some point wandered across the cast lands of Gishtau. They saw opportunity here due to the different landscapes. The cats likely explored and eventually set up their own villages, probably smaller versions of the cities we know today. Due to the amount of mass graves, it's easy to assume a war had happened at one point. From the amount of decay, historians decided it happens a long time ago. Nobody is entirely sure what this war was about, but the bodies are littered all over the place so it's easy to assume that every village had a part in it - a type of world war let's say. We speculate that they were fighting over land or maybe resources, but there's always the chance of it being political - maybe one village wanted to take over another and it became chaos from there. The most we have is some old old writing that's hard to make out these days: Something about this cat complaining of the amount of deaths and illness and how they wish they never left home.
We don't know what this "home" was, but there was actually a count of Foaming Mouth Disease being spread around at some point - which means the war could have been caused by extra aggression and fear, if there was a war at all. There are accounts of executing cats with Foaming Mouth Disease because showing signs means they're already too far gone. (FMD is rabies lol)
