An abandoned, monolithic. mega city. Once the "mage capital" of Verdant, the city was displaced from time and space when its core (a magical orb which powered the city and its magic) collapsed. It now appears at random throughout history, never in the same place, never with the same people, ever changing. Cities in place where Medandra appears are annihilated. No one who enters leaves. Everyone lives in fear of the city.

(The city is a homebrew fantasy-scifi setting mildly inspired by Stephen King's "The Langoliers". I ran it for 17 sessions in Free League's "Forbidden Lands" system.)
