Keywords: liminal. Folk horror, alternative universes.

(I'll be adding stuff along the way, so look out for new writing once in a while.)

Also Trigger warning!: this world includes death, child/life sacrifices, body horror, cannibalism and other horror stuff. So be careful!

The crossroads consists mostly of natural liminal spaces; ancient woods, endless fields, lonely roads, rolling hills and wast snow covered landscapes. There are no native species to this world, and all life is brought over from somewhere else. The weather is most often cloudy, with interchanging rain or snow.

But this place is by no means empty, a lot of creatures are hiding in plain sight.
There are many different monsters roaming in the shadows; Walkers, Hags, Fae, Changelings, spirits and more.

There are a few villages scattered around, mostly consisting of survivors who ended up here accidentally, but even these villages are not safe from harm. Dark magic, life sacrifices, blood rituals, cannibalism, gruesome executions, you name it!

All of this is happening and it's up to you to join in with the survivors, go solo, attach yourself to a stronger creature, or commit to the darkest deeds possible!
