The fading embers of a star call out, but no one hears. Is it fated to die alone after a life shining so bright? But maybe it burnt solely from pain, leaving only the toxic smog behind. It can't help but pity itself and its crumbling mortal body it has come to inhabit. Guilt, regret and hatred are all swirling around as a supernova, and yet they are due to come to an end in a cold void. But something deep within the star refuses.

I can't die. I won't.

My star, I still need you. You can't leave me now, not again. Oh, how long I've longed to see you again. I will never let you leave.
