The chill of the breeze carries the smell of autumn leaves, but the season's change only reminds you of one thing: the hunt...

Every month, the land of Abren holds tests for all those who've recently become 17 years of age*.
The results of this test are said to be able to uncover dangerous, shapeshifting creatures called 'Foxes'(essentially werewolves with extra steps, see more in the Fox writing)

Foxes are banished into the woods upon discovery, but they remain a threat to Abren...

Hence: The Hound Act.
An initiative set fourth to defend Abren and keep the monsters in the woods at bay.
Plenty of brave trainees are taught and tested in the art of the hunt,
however not all are ready or even willing to face up againt former friends or family turned foxes...(see more in the Hound Writing)

Will you be the hunter or the hunted? Who's choice is it, really?
