….A catastrophic event has hit the planet that has merged several worlds Sonic and Friends have been to, creating an imbalance. It is up to them to help restore the planet before it’s too late.
Dr. Eggman finds this phenomenon helpful to his latest plans, and intends to utilise the imbalance to sabotage Sonic. Old friends and new friends will have to come together in order to stop Dr. Eggman. 

But the Doctor isn’t the only one who plans to utilise this ‘merge’. Old foes are here for payback and new ones emerge.
