For all of history every society shares one thing, myths and stories of things that defy our understanding. In ancient times it was humans with animalistic heads, in the Greek and Roman myths it was mystical beings of great power or malevolent creatures of beauty, in the middle ages it was folk lore of water creatures like sirens and mermaids and large beasts like dragons across all regions from legends like knights fighting winged drakes or the Chinese Nine Dragons and Japanese ryū, and then when they colonized the new world it was the Windigo and Skinwalkers, and now it is Cryptids and Sasquatches. But we believe all of these are examples of the one common factor, the world we live in is anomalous in nature with things conventional reasoning cant explain.

This is a world where strange Anomalies, shadow Government agencies, private companies, Soviet splinter cells, and terror organizations all collide in a unraveling story. A reality far stranger than our own, creatures of myth are studied to advance our knowledge, new research battles to be brought to light against the shadows controlling the media, and wars over humanities future are waged in secret. Agencies like the N.I.A. thought to be long disbanded, have been hiding in the shadows, tampering with what the public knows, providing cover-ups for events of great tragedy. Companies like the A.C.A. seeking to understand that which won't be, seeing to it that groups like the T.H.F.R.A. are destroyed, that they are prevented from conducting heinous crimes against nature and mankind. Terror groups like AntiCon seek to abolish the A.C.A. and are pushing politicians to stand against their goals of safely containing and researching anomalies, seeking to spread chaos and social discourse.
