KL, A renowned YouTuber-singer, beloved by his audience for his adventurous spirit and positivity, finds himself in an unimaginable situation after falling through the ice during a winter hike with his brother and friends. Swept away by a powerful current, he drifts for miles through an ice tunnel almost entirely submerged in water, barely clinging to life. When he finally manages to resurface a day and a half later, he finds himself in a deep crevasse, injured and frozen, and his struggle for survival begins.

With no way to contact the outside world, he starts documenting his ordeal with his camera, framing it as a series titled “How to Survive with Kael: An Idiot’s Guide.” The videos keep him sane as he navigates the treacherous Kordyar, a place teeming with man-eating monsters.

This is the story of a young man fighting to survive on a continent where he is nothing more than monster food—and prey to environments that wants him dead.
But no one could have imagined what would happen: he eventually grows accustomed to it, and even comes to see Krodyar as a new, exciting adventure to embark on, learning new things every day, and determined to discover all the wonders this unknown continent have to hide, making new monster friends along the way.
Eventually he comes to point where he is not sure he wants to go home.
