The Falsesayer - the fell wicht of deceit.
Twin brother of Alíthei the Truthsayer.
He's changed to fit the story quite a lot since I first wrote him, and he's... a complete idiot now.
He's insanely good at acting and playing roles. Chances are, if he's mimicking someone, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between them. When he's presenting as himself, he's HORRIBLY awkward, understands very little of social cues, and poorly phrases nearly everything he says.
His core belief is that deception bring joy and comfort, and that the truth rarely brings anything but pain. He takes great interest in the country of Avaear, and particularly their capital city; Fèin Airath. The entire country is built on a corrupt system of false religion and lies, and Apáti has always viewed the culture and community it brought as something beautiful. Maybe it is, but as soon as you look beneath the facade it's cruel, cold, and violent; he's come to realise this recently, and he's trying to help change it to be what he always thought it was.
He is Alastor's patron, and usually takes the form of a flying cat perched on his shoulder. They've always had an incredibly weird relationship with one another. They both love each other, and have for years now, but for various reasons neither of them has ever confessed it to the other. It took an idiot barging into their house and calling them both out for it to make them admit it.
He was a weird one to design- he's a bit more scattered than a usual design I'd throw together, but eh?? Not like he canonically has a consistent appearance anyways-
In this form, he stands at roughly 3.2m (10ft 6), though that changes drastically depending on what he's doing at any given time.
