Alastor Drefan, or Audire; a human warlock, theatre owner, and 'spymaster'.

His patron is the Falsesayer; the Fell Wicht of Deceit, a being that either goes by 'Tessa' the Tressym, or takes on Alastor's form himself for short periods.
They have a very close relationship and clearly love each other, but for various reasons on both sides neither of them have ever actually admitted that to the other. It's been a weird "are we a thing or am I misreading everything??" thing for about 30 years at this point.

His patron believes deception is a good thing, and if hiding the truth avoids hurting someone and makes them happier, then that's the best thing to do. Alastor embodies this too, and whilst neither of them are malicious, it's a mindset that's lead to a lot of morally questionable actions.

He owns the Eventide Theatre in Fèin Airath (the capital city of Avaear), but worked full time for the Lux Inquisitors; a shadow faction working under the Royal's rule to manage the 'dirtier' parts of politics.

His role with the Inquisitors boiled down to something akin to a spymaster; he had scouts across the continent who report back on various matters, but on a more day-to-day basis his job largely focused on the spreading, and elimination, of sensitive information. Doctoring reports, historical events, and religion were a few of those areas.
Kalem was one of his scouts for about 20 years, until he recently defected.

He recently defected too, and ended has ended up (against his better judgements) living with Kalem, Ionya, Nikolao, Andauntis, and others.

He's part of the trio of leaders behind the Lux Inquisitors; Audire, Loqui, and Vide.
