They are the child of the reclusive Goddess of Nature and created blessed under the sacred light of the Moon. Their magic is immense and wild, and in their youth, it brought great distruction. Ever since they were born, Sonal has heard dark whispers in their ears and seen a mysterious masked face in their dreams, urging them to take control of their great power within. Raised isolated in the forest, their only friend as a child was a boy named [Xylo](https://unvale.io/character/9e480f0f-1af4-447b-b582-881555680fbf), who would come down from the fridgid north to spend the summer. However, after a great accident, the two were separated and had their memories sealed away. 
All that is left of that happy time is the feeling after you wake up from a dream, but you can't quite remember it. For Sonal, that feeling is fear and regret. 
They now work as a high mage with their healing magic, a cold and neutral exterior built around them as protection. However, their seemingly peaceful existence is quickly torn down as two familiar faces from the past return: Xylo's and a masked god's that haunts their every dream.
