As captain of the infamous Aquila Crew, Altair has a reputation for being one of the galaxy's most dangerous criminals. He's an excellent leader, pilot, sharp-shooter, and martial artist. He's been looting cargo ships and avoiding capture for nearly 5 years now.

Many first describe Altair as being very intimidating and confident. He rarely shows any signs of weakness to others and is careful about how close he lets people get to him. It can take quite a while to earn his trust. However, once earned, his trust is also difficult to shake. He's an incredibly loyal person and would gladly put his life on the line to protect those who manage to get close to his heart.

Recently, Altair led a raid on the Alpha Centauri Research Station, during which, he managed to free two orphaned children (Gamma and Lyra) who were being used for human experimentation. After (very reluctantly) agreeing to let them stay aboard his ship, he now has to figure out how to raise a pair of teens while simultaneously protecting them from bounty hunters, celestial beings, and all the intergalactic criminals that are after the bounties on their heads.
