Octavius' best friend, and former wife from an arranged marriage; although they do genuinely love each other despite their marriage having been an initially unwanted arranged one, Eeirie ultimately chose to break up with Tavi because she had long-held dreams of having little ones with a loving spouse, and learned that unfortunately Tavi wasn't able to have children with a woman and thus could not give her the family she longed for. (and adoption wasn't an option since, well, orphan vampire children are rare and non-vampires would constantly be in danger)

A woman with quite the fiery temper and personality overall, Eeirie is very much confident in herself and unafraid to state her thoughts or go after what her heart desires, could perhaps even be considered a bit vain. A fierce woman with an equally fierce love for those she holds dear to her. She prides herself on appearing refined and ladylike, but her ladylike demeanor quickly goes out the window when someone tries her short temper too much and her gloves come off, aka the sign of 'someone screwed up and she's about to kick their ass.' She doesn't care if she's wearing a dress and heels or if you're twice as tall as her, you will go down if she's angry and decided you're going to.
Her family is well-known for their bloodline's rare immunity to sunlight.

Despite her breakup with Octavius, the two are still extremely close and speak often; when Tavi is trying to figure out the source and cure of a vampiric plague outbreak and needs help recovering or hiding when things go wrong, Eeirie is always there to help him, willing to do practically anything for him. Even helps Valerick, who she finds odd and a bit annoying, slightly unsettling even, yet puts up with for Tavi's sake; is envious of Valerick's eventual relationship with Tavi, but gradually forms a friendship of sorts with him anyways.
