Rose is 18 years old, and about to begin her senior year in high school.
Growing up she was a "gifted" child, placed in all of the more difficult classes. Of course, this led to the eventual burnout near the end of elementary school, although she was soon back on the track she was so called "destined" for. For her failure was not an option. An A- was taboo. Despite the obvious tension with grades, She truly does love learning. Her heart lies specifically in Immunology and she plans to go to College and research the immune system.
She was also guided through life step by step by her parents, with them making almost all of her major life decisions. When they died, they left her with one of the biggest decisions, what to do after high school?
On top of making major decisions about herself, she's been thrust into being the caretaker for Rox and herself. She works part time jobs around the clock to earn extra money.
Thankfully Rose and Rox have some great family friends who are letting the two stay in their place for the foreseeable future. "Uncle" Zeb and "Aunt" Pennie are very generous with their help, pretty much taking them in as their own and making sure they have a meal and a safe place to stay.
Rose is driven by an obligation to do her best and hopefully help the world, and a deep care for her sister.
She's a vibe, and she’s super fun to write and ponder. If you’re curious about her story and her world, I’d recommend checking out my Somewhere bygone unvale world! :)
