Aymer (pronounced ah·meer) is a fire elf. He was born and raised in the kingdom of Vyxsis. At age 16(or the elf equivalent) he got into a fight with another student. During this fight he accidentally set a very treasured enchanted forest on fire. He quickly fled his home, not wanting to face his parents and elders after such an act. He swore off using his magic. He snuck onto a boat, leading him to the kingdom of Solace. After staying on the streets for some time he was found by a kolbold by the name of Vilis, who took him in.

Vilis practically adopted him and as a head librarian, raised the boy in one. At 20(elf equivalent once again) he became a librarian and began to work towards being an archivist. Around this time he learned that he is considered a mutant. A one in a thousand chance. A Blue Flamed elf, a fire elf with much hotter and more unstable fire. At 28 the rebellion started and he quickly joined. He acts as a sort of spy—since being a well known librarian gets you in touch with plenty of nobles.

Also hes chronically ill because I say so—but on a serious note. He has a sickness called Mana Drowning which is an ailment caused by a severe lack of using magic, leading to mana continuing to build. This causes core(magic heart) pains and instability. This post explains it more.
