It is very rare that you don't see Waldinas smiling.
Born shortly after his mother had suffered another devastating loss, she didn't want to lose her baby children, ever. To prevent that, she knit Waldinas' and his twin sister's souls together so they could only die at the exact same moment. This had the added side-effect that the two had access to each other's magic pool, too. A fact that Zyradina often took advantage of in school.

Now, he's one of the most powerful mages of Sowa. He's employed at a school, the Wandering Forest School. He made that choice to be able to be there for his daughter and tries to refuse job offers that keep him too long from home. Although, sometimes it is necessary to save the world.

Currently, his daughter is on her own adventure, and Waldinas has taken the time to help one of his brothers, Sariankhaýn learn how to employ his inherent magical abilities.
