Bio:
Has roots in South Africa, but now lives in the United States with her mother and father.
Mara is caring, outgoing and very supportive of her friends. Generally a positive person, she is often a motivator for her team.

Sharon - The first person to become friends with her after she moved to the U.S. They're still close, despite losing touch for a long time.
Kiara - Her closest friend after moving a second time for her father's work.
Takeshi - She has a low-key crush on him, but she knows it'll never be requited.
Toki - She admires how she always does her best.
Kita - She's a lot of fun, but can also be overwhelming sometimes.
Reka - They're not particularly close, but she respects him.
